WANDERLEI SILVA news by MMA Sports staff

Fans have enjoyed what Wanderlei Silva has given us for many years, but we were left to wonder what’s next after his KO loss to Rampage at UFC 92.

We had a chat with him about his thoughts on UFC 92.

"I trained for six months and was in my best condition. I had a fault in my technique and dropped my right hand and was hit with a strong punch and was out. I felt the crowd getting anxious and I went to attack, but left my guard down," said Wanderlei.

Win or lose, Wanderlei is always one of the most exciting fighters in Mixed Martial Arts. His aggressive style draws fans to every single one of his fights. In simple terms, his fights are always unpredictable and anything can happen. So what’s next?

"I am going to fight at 185 for my next fight. I'm going to talk to Dana and see who I may fight. I'd like to fight at UFC 100 in July, if possible," said Wanderlei.

There is a long list of possible fighters for him to face in the UFC middleweight division, but either way…I always look forward to watching him fight.
