By Elie for MMA SPORTS®

MMA SPORTS: Impressive win against Eddie Faaloloto, what were your thoughts on the fight?
Terry: I was happy about the fight. I was looking forward to getting back in there and getting back to winning ways.

MMA SPORTS: You submitted him in 17 seconds into the first round, did you think the fight would end that quick?
Terry: No. I never expected it to finish that quick, I was quite shocked to be honest, but that's the beauty of the sport - fights can end in a split second.

MMA SPORTS: You earned submission of the night for that win, how did that feel?
Terry: Obviously, being out for 19 months it was nice to come back to my first fight and get submission of the night.

MMA SPORTS: What’s it like fighting for the UFC in your home country?
Terry: It's a dream come true to be fighting for the UFC. I really am living the dream. It's always amazing to fight for the UFC, especially in front of your home crowd. It makes it extra special.

MMA SPORTS: Do you prefer fighting at home or overseas?
Terry: Obviously I prefer fighting at home, as there is nothing like fighting in front of your home crowd, but in saying that, every time I've been abroad the fans have always been great.

MMA SPORTS: Looks like its undefeated Edson Barboza at UFC 142 next for you, what are your thoughts on that fight?
Terry: I think it's gonna make for a very good fight stylistically. It's got fight of the night written all over it.

MMA SPORTS: Any advice for Edson, who I’m sure, is looking to win?
Terry: I hope he wants it as bad as me.

MMA SPORTS: Who should I bet on and how will the fight?
Terry: It's gonna be a Terry Etim win. I always look to finish fights, so place your bets.

MMA SPORTS: Finish the sentence, after UFC 142, Edson Barboza will ________?
Terry: No longer be undefeated.

MMA SPORTS: What will fans see from this fight?
Terry: The same Terry Etim as always. Fast and explosive and looking to finish the fight.

MMA SPORTS: Besides obviously Edson Barboza now, who would you love to match yourself with in the UFC?
Terry: Donald Cerrone - stylistically I think it'd be a really exciting fight.

MMA SPORTS: 2011 was a quiet year for you with just one fight; do you want 2012 to be a little busier?
Terry: Of course - I'm looking forward to having a really busy year.

MMA SPORTS: In your 15 wins in MMA, you’ve finished 14 of them; with only one judge’s decision, I take it you always look to finish the fight?
Terry: Always. I'd never fight not to lose, I always fight to win and to finish.
