Machida by decision. I see the fight being pretty frustrating
and slow paced and Machida to land random strikes and pick up
a Unanimous Decision.
Mike: I have been impressed with
Rashad lately, his hand speed is tough to deal with, but until
I see Machida show some kind of weakness in his game… I can’t
pick against him. I think Machida gets a TKO late in the fight. |

Hughes by TKO late 3rd round. I see him being better at controlling
the pace and wearing Serra down with methodical GnP.
Mike: I think Matt Hughes is about
ready to hang it up, but wants to do it on a high note... and
I think this is a perfect fight for him to do that. He will
use his wrestling and strength to keep Serra down, and as long
as he doesn’t get caught in a slick sub, he will take a decision
win. |

I think this will be a tough three round fight with miller winning
a majority decision due to better wrestling.
Mike: I don’t know, this is a tough
one...I think the short notice and quick turnaround may come
back to haunt Sonnen...as he starts to gas mid fight, and ends
up choked out by the slick groundwork of Dan Miller.

I am going to take a risk here and say Edgar by TKO from cuts.
I see Sherk being too big for Edgar to out wrestle, but Edgar
will keep a fast pace on Sherk and catch him with
a knee or elbow in the scramble.
Mike: I am a fan of Edgar and I
love watching him fight… he is a scrappy dude. But I see this
fight looking sort of like his fight with Maynard. Sherk over
powering and out wrestling him for 3 rounds… picking up a Unanimous
Decision win. |

Foupa-Pokam by TKO last 1st early 2nd. His Thai will be too
sharp for McFedries.
Mike: Professor X is gonna surprise
Drew with his aggressiveness, and catch him with a good shot...
and will get the submission shortly after.
