KJ “King Karl”
Noons is the current ELITE XC Lightweight Champion, beating Nick Diaz
via TKO to claim the organizations first title belt. He was born in
Kailua-Kona Hawaii and fights out of City Boxing Gym, San Diego.
With his advanced striking game KJ is one of Elite’s shining stars and
always makes for an exciting fight. He recently took on the master of
“Thugjitsu” Yves Edwards at Elite XC “Return of The King” in his homeland,
defending his title in emphatic fashion stopping Edwards in the first
round. The stand up machine with the rock hands sat down briefly and
told MMA SPORTS 5 Things We Didn’t Know About Him….
1
- He has a 5lb yorkie (Yorkshire terrier) for a pet!
2
- His first jobs were washing cars and working as a cashier at K-mart!
3
- He won't go and see a movie without having Mochi Crunch (A Japanese
cracker that people eat as a snack in Hawaii) in his popcorn!
4
- His boxing coach’s nickname for him is SUMO and GORDO – it means fat
in Spanish!
5
- KJ had to stop playing his XBOX 360….because he got addicted.
