Living in Vancouver, Canada and training out of the ATT (American Top Team) gym in Florida, Denis made a name for himself in the sport fighting mainly under the Spirit MC banner and late PRIDE. He now happily calls the UFC home, even though he has had mixed results since entering the octagon. After a nervous debut loss (to Alan Belcher) Kang had his hand raised in victory in a tough encounter with “Professor X” Xavier Foupa-Pokam at UFC 97. With two fights remaining on his current contract he is looking to continue that winning form and show UFC fans what an excitement machine he really is next time the steel door closes. In the meantime MMA SPORTS tracked down Denis and he was happy to tell us 5 things we didn’t know about him! |
